Recap of the first half of my birthday month

- road trip covering 1140km between Tampere, Helsinki and Pori (south and west Finland; previously i've also driven east to Savonlinna and as far north as Inari)

So, what am I looking forward to in the second half?

- several medical tests and appointments. need to take care of this aging hardware of mine

- actual birthday on the 20th, no plans yet

- U2 concert with M&M! will be the 4th time in Hki this month...

- TASO rehearsals starting again after the summer hiatus, and a performance beginning next month for UTA's 50th anniversary celebrations http://www.uta.fi/ajankohtaista/tapahtumakalenteri/ilmoitus.html?v=2010&kk=9&id=43160

- maybe a plane ride if a friend finds the time (and remembers to take me on it...)

- some thinking about choices, reflecting, planning, decision-making, etc... you know, all the good stuff that comes with having a birthday and getting older
